VFW Unmet Needs helps service members and their families who face unexpected financial difficulties, often as a result of deployments or other military related activity or injury. Military families can apply for financial aid grants of up to $1,500 to assist with basic like needs in the form of a grant - not a loan - so no repayment is required; to further ease the burden, the creditor is paid directly.
